This is a French D. Nicolas violin from 1822. Great condition. I have played on it since I was 15, it was my main fiddle through most of my time at Berklee College of Music and since then it’s been in rotation as one of the main fiddles I tour with. It’s an amazing fiddle; super clear, focused tone and very balanced lows and highs.
