Very nice and rarely-used Yamaha YEV 105 Black 5 string electric violin. Purchased during the pandemic in the spring of 2020 to practice quietly at home. Paid $665 plus tax and shipping (case was not included). The Electric Violin Shop said it came with a professional set up, but I had it set up locally to get the action just right - plays very easily now. It sounds great through an amp or headphones.
Why selling? I purchased an acoustic 5 string and with a heavy-duty mute it’s nearly as quiet as the Yamaha electric and I don’t need two 5 string fiddles. I will include a Jakob Winter Greenline case (German manufacturer’s sustainably manufactured line of cases) - it was shipped in a cardboard fiddle box. I have many accessories (headphones, little pre-amp, a really pro level effects and pre-amp & effects processor) that I would sell at additional cost.
