Lovely fiddle. No maker’s label. German attribution. Purchased in 2008 from the David Kerr violin shop in Portland, Oregon. Was previously owned by a top local musician. Been playing this in a bluegrass band setting for the last decade. Great tone, power, and playability. Comes as a complete package with very nice Bam case (purchased new for this fiddle), a custom-fitted insulated case cover by Colorado Case Co, a nice bow (that I originally bought from Steve Perry of Gianna Violins), a deluxe Kuhn shoulder rest, and some good rosin.
Selling this because I’m doing some long term travel and really don’t want this fantastic fiddle to languish in storage. Will put on a new set of D’Addario Helicore strings prior to shipping.
I paid $4800 for the fiddle (a long while ago). Other extras included in this package cost over $1k. Selling this gem of a kit for $4500, a very fair price. I’m confident this setup will make any fiddler extremely happy.
