This is a good quality Chinese violin, Strad model, with one-piece back in mint condition. It was used by a private teacher as a spare instrument for students for years, and is at least 20 years old, meaning the wood is mature and stable. Despite being played, it was always kept in good shape and never suffered any neglect or damage. It has been professionally set up by Maxham Violins and will meet the needs of a beginning to intermediate player. It has gotten favorable comments from players for its ease of playing and sound for the price.
It comes with a GEWA shaped foam case, although a case of your choice can be added at a reasonable price. Bows are available upon request.
