This is a violin from the Hiroshi Kono workshop. These violins are known and respected all over the country and even internationally.
Built on a slender Guarneri pattern, each violin is made from excellent European spruce and a beautifully flamed one-piece maple back. The graduations are carefully refined and a bassbar is installed. After assembly, each violin is hand varnished and set up. Every violin is played for quality control before its label is put in.
The violin comes standard with good quality ebony tailpiece and chinrest and ebony Hart style pegs. It is set up with Rondo strings and a Goldbrokat E.
This is a workhorse violin—it can be used in recording, on stage, or in any other setting. Many professional players own one and the reviews are glowing. It punches well above its weight.
