Royce Burt Amati Shop model #1131 - 2023
I bought this from Royce Burt in 2023. It’s in excellent condition. It has Wittner fine tuning pegs and tail piece.
Scale length 328mm. Medium to low action. Two piece back. Excellent quality tone woods used in this instrument.
It is simply an awesome sounding fiddle and easy to play. I’ve played it a lot so it’s played in some but could get even sweeter. It has Larson strings on right now. They’re comparable to the Helicore’s as far as tone and last a long time but I would go back to the Helicore’s next string change because I like the tone better and Helicore’s are more affordable. Up to you though.
I believe this fiddle was made in China but Royce Burt did the graduation, varnish and setup and did a mighty fine job. Royce is a better player than he will admit but he is awesome at setting up a fiddle as well. That is so important to play-ability.
These fiddles are an awesome value and you are set up for success.
I’d like to keep this fiddle but I got a 5 string fiddle this year and I need to downsize for my retirement.

I have a Pernambuco bow with gold hardware that weighs 57 grams I can include for $100 if you want it. It's just an extra bow I got from Royce but it is a good quality bow.
Comes with original cheep case.
