This is a good American made violin from Gottlieb Kleiner. Good condition, well taken care of in it's lifetime, has been professionally set up, new bridge, new sound post, fingerboard planed, and inspected for loose seams. There are no cracks or repaired cracks, no issues other than the normal aging and wear from use that one would expect for a violin of this age. Ready to play. According to the previous owner, a member of the Boston Pops orchestra tried it out and said it "sounds really nice". So a good sounding violin in great shape from a good American maker made in 1911. I have attached two links for information on this violin. Apparently Gottlieb Kleiner is a German violin maker who immigrated to America in the early 1900's and built violins in Philadelphia. Would prefer not to sell it but I need the money.
