Vintage Handmade Birdseye Maple 3/4 Size Violin Made McKeesport PA 1909
Interesting 3/4 violin made by Victor Peterson, 2811 Garbett Ave., McKeesport, Pennsylvania in 1909. The violin is in good playable condition with ebony pegs and fingerboard. The tailpiece has adjusters for each string.
The top is spruce and the back Birdseye maple. The violin has no cracks or repairs. The finger board, tailpiece and chinrest are ebony.
The instrument has good volume.
The violin comes with nice full lined brazil wood bow with on abalone slide.
The bow was made in West Germany.
The case is a vintage alligator style that originally came with the violin.
