Medical bills force me to sell this. Willing to entertain any offers. Must sell.
Eastman 305, made in 2004. I am the first owner. Nice low action without being too low. Has Perfection Pegs and Wittner Ultra tailpiece. Has a nice warm sound, shading to sweet on the E. There are some recordings on my homepage. Not the best playing, but you should get the idea. There are no harsh noises or bad tones on this fiddle. Good condition. Strung with Tonica Mediums. I primarily used this for Irish fiddle music for the last 8 or 9 years, and it served well. This was my first fiddle, and has a lot of sentiment for me. Words cannot express how sad I am to see it go.
Condition: This is in good condition. However, it is used and has signs of being used. There is some varnish crackling on the back near the button. The neck is a tiny bit rough due to sweaty hands. And of course, there are a couple of dings here and there. Seams are tight. No buzzes or rattles. Will ship in an old coffin case. Can throw in an old fiberglass bow and rosin if needed. Shipping cost will be actual cost. Instrument is slightly darker than photo.
Due to the urgent need, Paypal or in-person cash required. Circumstances also dictate that it is sold as-is. SALE IS FINAL. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE.
Thanks,
Aaron
