There are conflicting opinions whether this is German or French but it is a circa 1920's high quality violin in excellent condition. A well-known shop in Portland said they would sell it for $3,000. Recent pro setup with quality rosewood fittings, new soundpost, bridge, and new Dominant strings. No cracks or repairs - there are a few minor edge scrapes (I will be touching these up). The pegholes were also rebushed.
This is a very responsive violin with a powerful, clear, focused voice.
