I had a bunch of European instruments in the white, and used them to prototype graduation, varnish, etc. This one is amber reddish, hand (literally) laid varnish I made, over my own mineral ground. Should wear in nicely. Graduation follows that proposed by Jack Fry in the Secrets of Cremona book by Wali. Set in ebony with Wittner ultra fine tuner tailpiece. Prim strings. Loud, powerful, old timey sound. Bridge is 52 mm radius. This thing really kicks, like the last "deep fryed" only a little deeper in sound. Lots of work into it, but it's not like the upcoming production versions, which will be more expensive. Just need to clear out the prototypes so I can move the shop more easily. Can play over phone or skype.
