For sale is a fine bench made in 2003 Violin by John Silakowski It's has that big dark Silakowski sound with carrying power
The top is of Med grain spruce the back is one piece exquisitely flamed maple the ribs are blanket figured maple it has a golden orange varnish it has been my player and is in excellent condition Silakowski violins are in high demand and his violins are played by well know fiddlers. It's been a hard decision to sell it but I just don't play anymore. The bow is a Albert Nurnberger the octagonal pernambuco stick is wrapped at the grip with sterling and black leather the ebony frog is fully mounted in sterling with a plain abalone eye it has a oneAlber piece sterling silver button the tip is ivory the bow is 67.1 grams and in very good condition
The package deal also comes with a very good no name bow and a fiberglass case with a rain cover. Both violin and bow have papers from the Violin Shop in Nashville Tn. I don't have to sell therefore I'm firm on the price and 2000.00 under market just on the violin and Nurnberger bow not counting the no named bow that in my opinion is very good or I would not have owned it and case thanks for looking.
