2009 Tommy Case fiddle, after 1708 Guarneri. This is an interesting piece. Rustic, but deep and powerful. 332 mm sounding length. Body 363 mm. UB 166. CB 117. LB209. All over the arching. Wood is wonderful wide-grain maple? Red maple? Looks US! Top very fine grained. Arching exceptionally full, like Guadagnini plus. Chunky scroll. Antler nut & saddle. Bridge by Gailes Violin Shop.
Fairly unique! I understand these go for $1500 to $2000 new. Half of that is $750. So I think $650 is fair, but make me an offer, trades considered. It's pretty cool, but I don't need it!
